Let's Get Ready to Rumble

Jonathan is going to be a Freshman this year.  Not only that, but Jonathan is going to be a Freshman this year in a new school AND he is in band.  What does this mean?  He got to participate in Independence High School's Rumble.  It was so much fun.  The school put on a little activity called a Rumble.  It was an opportunity for all of the clubs to show off their stuff and to try to recruit new members.  There was also a short little scrimmage.  We all bought our new purple Independence Knight t-shirts to get ready for football season.

The Rumble was shortly after Grandma's funeral, so we recruited the family to come to Frisco to cheer Jonathan on.  MaMaw, Grady, Uncle Jeffrey and Lainey came for the festivities.

We were so excited to see our cute little tuba player march in with his giant sousaphone!  I am not sure if we are ready for football season or not, but we sure are excited!  Go Knights!  Go Jonathan!
