Jonathan's Forthcoming was yesterday. He was nominated for Forthcoming Court. Basically, his friends thought it would be funny to nominate him and somehow he really got nominated. He had a fun week and it was a great experience for him. He had to get himself out of his comfort zone and people know him now. Plus, he had to show school spirit all week long. It is so sad, because they crown the prince and princess or Duke and Duchess (whatever they call it) at the pep rally now instead of the game. I think they should do that at the game, but the pep rally was fun and Jonathan was just a little bit relieved that he wasn't crowned.
The FOCO game was freezing! It was our first cold game of the season. The band was awesome. And, so was the football team! Lone Star scored a lot of points on us, but we've improved so much over the season. The band performed Thriller. Jonathan kept it a secret, so we would be surprised. MaMaw and Grady came out to watch him perform. They were so amazing. We were proud of our little band. They've done such great things so far! I'm so glad that Jonathan has chosen to be in the band program. It is good for our little awkward man. One more game to go and this football/marching season is in the books.
